B.Sc. Nursing

B.Sc. Nursing is a 4 Year undergraduate course in the field of healthcare. The aim of the course is to prepare students to serve humanity through holistic nursing care. The course is centered around people and society, focusing on attaining, maintaining, and recovering optimal health and quality of life. It is basically the art of nursing the sick and the wounded and thus the curriculum includes subjects related to the human body like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, nutrition, psychology, etc. There are various job prospects for B.Sc Nursing graduates, such as, clinical nurse in government or private hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, health departments, medical services of the army, Nurse educators, Nurse researchers in research institutes or Nurse managers or administrators in hospitals.
