The students are taught and trained by means of class room teaching and skill training through simulation lab before being posted to the clinical setting for practical exposure. The parent hospital SJMCH , a tertiary care multispecialty unit serves as an excellent clinical field for the students’ practical training.
Students are also trained in community health nursing for which they are posted in urban and rural health centers and provide need based family centered care.
